AP Preseason All-America Team: Alabama Wins Six Selections

featured image

Alabama entered the 2022 season and was ranked the #1 preseason team in the nation in an AP poll. So it’s only fitting that the Crimson Tide is well-represented on the preseason All-America team.

Six Alabama players headline the first and second team selections announced Monday. Current Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young is a first-team quarterback, and linebacker Will He Anderson is also on the list for the 2021 Bronco Nagurski after winning his trophy as the nation’s best defensive player. It’s on.

Ohio State got 3 players to Team 1 and 2 players to Team 2, while defending national champion Georgia was named 3 to Team 1 and 1 to Team 2.

Here’s a full selection of the AP All-America Preseason First and Second Teams.
