pollster
Allegheny County residents will be able to work as poll workers this November.
Polling workers, also called election workers, earn between $150 and $175 for their Election Day jobs. New pollsters also receive paid training.
Elections officials perform the important job of checking voters in at polling places and getting them ready to vote. At the end of the night, poll workers deliver the results of the polls to county elections officials. The county relies on these workers to conduct fair and safe elections.
If you are interested in this process, would like to watch training videos, or would like to apply online to become a poll worker for the November 8 General Election, please visit alleghenyvotes.com and select the poll worker tile. I can do it.
If you would like to speak to someone about this position, please call 412-350-4500 and select option 5.
