Solano Symphony Orchestra's 36th Year Includes Public 'Play-In' of Vaca Arts Week – The Vacaville Reporter

Just in time, as Solano County and the country coexist with the pandemic and show signs of returning to a new normal, leaders of the Solano Symphony have created an acoustic roadmap for their 36th year of concerts.

It all starts with an invitation to promote their musical work to the masses.

As always, the orchestra’s 2022-23 season will feature five concerts led by longtime conductor and music director Semyon Lohss, all at 3pm at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theater. Event during Vacaville Arts Week on September 25th from 3-4:30pm at Andrews Park.

Community members of all ages can bring their instruments and sit with orchestra members to visually read music that is fun, easy and easy to understand. The annual Salute to Youth concert on February 5th will feature the following award winners:
The Young Artists Competition and youth ensembles from Vacaville and Vanden High Schools will perform alongside orchestra members.
