Wibu-Systems was selected by Swedish company Image Systems to provide IP protection and license management solutions for its new TEMA platform.

While this solution was effective, it also required a cumbersome process to activate licenses to use the software. As the company is actively updating its product line, it has also decided to move to a new generation of license management technology. Image Systems is working towards a new generation of analytical applications on the TEMA platform (Track Eye Motion Analysis). The company serves its customers directly as well as through OEM partner channels, so it wanted a security solution to make the process as frictionless as possible. CodeMeter allows users to sign up for licenses for the required software features via a separate portal. This process is handled completely automatically by CodeMeter technology.
The Swedish software company also needed a freemium version of its software, a flexible licensing system that would allow potential users to create limited-function software that could be tried for free. This is also made possible by CodeMeter License Central from Wibu-Systems.
