Earned Archery Hunters and Partners will be accessible for two weeks at:
• Terra Nova, a 24-acre site on Big Derby Creek in Union County on North Lewisburg Road near North Lewisburg.
• Milford Centre, 90 acres located on Big Derby Creek in Union County, between Middleburg Plain City Road and North Derby Coe Road, just southeast of Collins Road.
• The Andreae Agnes and Little Darby Forrest Preserve is a total of 232 acres in Madison County located on Little Darby Creek off State Rt. 29 West West Jefferson.
The drawing is scheduled for Thursday at the Plain City Youth Building in Passtime Park at 344 N. Chillicothe St. $5 tickets must be purchased for each draw.

To qualify, hunters must be able to show a current hunting license. Winners are required to attend an orientation immediately after the drawing, but hunting partners are not required to attend.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources reported in a drawing release that scenic river locations are likely to harbor large numbers of deer because they experience little hunting pressure. Open 9 locations adjacent to 4 of 15 designated scenic rivers for deer hunting in the fall.

The Archery Slot Draw is scheduled for September 10th at 11:00 am at the cabin near the Toboso parking lot at 2200 Gratiot Road SE. Eligible participants who present a current hunting license can purchase his $5 ticket to the raffle.

Most deer hunting on state reserves is designated for bow hunting, but gun hunting is allowed on Lake Katherine in Jackson County and Caesar Creek in Warren County. There will also be a muzzleloader hunt on Lake Katherine.

A free Ohio Wildlife Service workshop on pigeon hunting is held Saturday at the Delaware Wildlife Area shooting range from 8 am to noon. Equipment will be provided.
