CHICAGO (AP) — Two more accusers have taken the stand in R. Kelly’s child pornography and underage solicitation trial.
The first accuser, who testified under the pseudonym “Jane” two weeks ago, is in another allegation that the R&B singer cheated in a 2008 state child pornography trial by threatening witnesses and covering up video evidence. critical of the allegations.
Kelly, 55, was sentenced to 30 years in prison by a federal judge in New York in June on racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
Overall, the prosecution named five accusers in pretrial filings, but it is unclear whether both of the remaining accusers will testify before the government rests this week. It was scheduled to continue and end in mid-September.
The accuser, who used the pseudonym “Pauline,” said Monday that she was Jane’s junior high school classmate and that Jane introduced her to Kelly in 1998.
When she was at Kelly’s Chicago home later that year, Pauline said she was surprised to walk in with Kelly and a naked Jane in the basement. I told her, and this is “our secret.”
Pauline told jurors on several occasions that she loved Kelly. But as her mother of 37, she said she now has a different perspective.
“If anyone does anything to my kids, I’m killing them. Period,” she said.
Kelly testified that she had been sexually abused over 100 times since she was 14, and that she had had sex for the first time when she was 15.
Under cross-examination, Jennifer Bonjeen, Kelly’s lead attorney, accused Pauline of being inaccurate about the number of times she had sex with Kelly when she was underage.

A second accuser to testify on Monday, Tracy, said she was introduced to Kelly when she was 16 by her boss at the record company she was interning with in 1998.

On another occasion, she explained that Kelly had walked into the hotel room where Tracy was staying and yelled at her for wearing clothes under her bathrobe.

Tracy started crying in the stands on Monday when she began telling jurors about the day Kelly walked into the room where Tracy was waiting.
“I was really confused and really angry,” she recalls. “I really didn’t think there was anyone other than me and Rob.”
Kelly’s 2008 trial revolved around a video in which state prosecutors said Kelly was abusing Jane. He said he had no choice because the girl did not stand as a witness at the trial.
Jane is testifying at the current trial, she is a child in the video and Kelly is an adult male.
